Blue block
school assignment IV2
A home designed for a couple who wanted to transform their living space into a cohesive whole with a sense of stillness. I worked with three elements: a “super-furniture” piece, a sense of stillness, and a spatial journey.
Using three blocks, the different functions are separated from one another while remaining connected. The surrounding living spaces are organised around these blocks. Their dynamic stacking creates both a vertical and horizontal journey through the space, forming the desired “super-furniture.”
3 functional blocks in the space that separate the functions.
All living spaces are connected to the blocks.
Stacking the blocks in a dynamic way. It forms both a horizontal and a vertical path.
